Default Opinions on ringer tees.

I've found a brown tshirt I really would like to use. My only issue with it is that it is one of those ringer style tees. The body is a heather type brown with darker brown for the neck/sleeve hems. I was wondering if that style is really for younger people or is it a passing trendy type of shirt?

That style works very well in general, but depending on your market you will sell more or less. We sell a lot of these shirts to school groups and athletic teams. Despite that high demographic though, they are still considered as 'fashion' tees, and should command a higher price.

It has been my experience that the design placed on "ANY" shirt is what makes it a good item or not. You can have a great design but if it is on a dull shirt then it may not sell. With my business I get request for Ringer Tees from Youth camps to Church groups. The range is wide and this particular tee does comand a higher price than just a standard white tee. If you place a design on a shirt that targets a certain age group then it is safe to say that that group will be the ones that make the most purchases of that item.

That shirt has been around for a long time and I really don't think it is going anywhere.

I used to print and sell a lot of ringers back in the 80's. It's one of the shirts that never really becomes trendy and never really goes away.

I have to say that as far as printing, I rarely get requests for ringers. I do see there are alot of nice heathered and dyed ringers that have come out, but I myself have not really had any requests for them on items I print.
