Default Help: Wholesale mugs??

I need help looking for mugs at wholesale prices. I have a shirt customer that wants matching mugs and they want the nice ones - not the white Die sub ones. I was looking at discount mugs but the customer wants a print on each side then a bottom wrap around saying.
I found permant vinyl that was ok for heat up to 180 i'm hoping that might work for me to do it myself.
Discount only does the 2 sides - I thought I could out source for the 2 sides and do the words myself? But I dont want to charge them more than a few dollars a mug (3-4 is maxing their $)
Any wholesale mug places I can just get the mugs and do it all??

I really don't think vinyl will be a viable option in mug printing. I know others have tried this and it did not work. I think the best thing to do is outsource the entire job. ... JB

Get yourself set up as a promotional products distributor. You don't need to join PPAI (at something like $600 per year). You can get from them a UPIC code that will do the trick.

Go to UPIC.org and get yourself a UPIC number -- there is no cost for that.

Then go to DistributorCentral.com and register there.

You may need to contact both in the process because UPIC wants you to have a Distributor Central account before they give you a number, but Distributor Central doesn't want to give you a log-in if you don't have a UPIC. I just e-mailed PPAI and told them that I was signed up with Distributor Central, but needed the UPIC to get that completed.

You will then have access to promotional products at wholesale prices.
