Since we're talking about Apparel/Garments, does anyone know who sells oversized garments for Larger USA Women?
We printed the t-shirts for a radio station, and during the concert one of our friends who happens to be a larger american women asked if we could design a t-shirt for larger american women. She ended up cutting the collar in front, like a V-neck t-shirt. She's a really nice women, and I'd hate to disappoint her especially because she's not the only large american woman, and there could be a lot of potential customers out there ( I didn't want to say, a large market, since we're talking about larger americans).
I'm not trying to be funny, but I'm sure we'll all get a laugh out of this thread. After you've laughted, can you direct me to a company that sells t-shirts with larger americans in mind? The point is really that the neck sizes are too small.

Hi Paul, I've moved this post to its own thread, since it really is an important topic of its own I didn't want it to get buried in a topic with a title about something else.
I've always said that there is a definite market need for more "relaxed" style women's blanks. Still cut for women, but not so fitted like many of the garments I see today.
There are a few out there (like Hanes Silver For Her has a few), but the styles are limited. I think Anvil also has a more "regular" fitting women's t-shirt.

If the problem is more about the size of the collar you might also look into getting shirts with a scoop neck or boat neck collar, which are much larger than a typical ribbed collar.

Kavio has the junior plus for women which are basically I believe plus size womens shirts. I would check them out and see if they have what you are looking for. They have alot of really nice styles too. Hope this helps

Thanks everyone, these sound like great tips to work on. I'll check all of the items listed in the posts above.
As far as which sizes, I'll probably start with Large and above. Women normally are shorter then men, so I'm guessing about starting at a smaller size then what a large man would be considered.

This doesn't help you at all, but I know there's a company that does this, and I know it's been posted on the forums. I remember someone linking to them, I checked out the site, was fairly impressed, but can't remember any more than that.
It does mean that the information is somewhere in these sixty thousand threads or so
