I'm trying to figure out what the differences are between the major national t-shirt distributors (SanMar, TSC Apparel, Staton Wholesale, Bodek and Rhodes, Broder etc.). My key criteria are product availability, timeliness of delivery, pricing, packaging and customer service. Anyone that can share their experiences with me would be really appreciated! If you don't mind a quick phone call please pm me your number, I promise to be respectful of your time. Thanks a lot for reading this post and for helping me learn from your experiences!
Essentially, they are all about the same, including pricing. Most of us choose our distributor based on location. Ideally, they are in your city and you can go and pick your stuff up if you are in a rush. Or, they are no more than 1 days shipping from you.

I agree with Joe, they are all about the same. Best to find the one that is closest to you. Maybe use a couple until you find one with an ordering process that you like the best.
Everyone would have to do one day shipping to me so that is a wash. Which ones are best in terms of having product available when you need it?
Most all of the major national distributors have huge warehouses full of inventory that is available for shipping the same day if you meet the cutoffs.
I haven't had problems with any of the ones you listed above in regards to having product.
I've found that it's usually when you're dealing with the manufacturer or brand directly (or smaller blank clothing brands), that the inventory issues come in. Mostly for the fashion blanks like Article1, Alternative Apparel, etc.
