Default Anyone Disapointed w/ Alternative Apparel?

We used to solely use AA for all of our shirts- but they've recently raised their prices and price brackets, and pretty much discontinued every color shirt in the capped crew t that we used. not to mention lots of order mix up jazz...

anyhoot- i really like their colors, fabrics, styles (prices are OK, the brackets are not. booo.). any wholesalers you'd like to share?

i've tried (or at least have catalogs from):

s+s activewear (love them for basic shirts)
broder brothers- booooooooo!
royal apparel
american apparel
apparel 1 (is that the name)

When you say AA, are you talking about ALTERNATIVEapparel or AMERICANapparel?

I didn't think ALTERNATIVEapparel had weird pricing brackets (I'm pretty sure they aren't structured the same as AMERICANapparel)

I'm using AltApp and haven't had problems, thought I'm new at this so it hasn't been a longterm thing. They did just change from one price regardless of quantity to dozens and case pricing. The good thing about their dozens and case pricing is they let you combine sizes and colors to get the pricing.

I got samples from Article 1. Better than American Apparel but not as good as AltApp in my opinion. Not as soft. But then nothing's as soft as AltApp.

Know what I love about Alternative Apparel. The chick on the summer catalog cover.

Im still using American Apparel mainly because they are slightly cheaper.

Is there a noticable difference in the way the shirts hold up?

Yeah, but only if you are buying dozens of same size and color. For me right now, I like the flexibility of being able to combine sizes and colors for a price not much more than AA. And the people I've shown my AA, AltApp and Article1 samples to have preferred AltApp. The material and softness just can't be beat in my opinion. And sweatshop free like AA.

Wow, I didn't know they made that change.

That's good. That still sets it apart from "normal" case pricing.

I'd have thought that no minimums, plus dozens and case pricing, would be the most economical structure for 90% of us.

I am personally disappointed in the quality of one particular style that I absolutely fell in love with at first. I ordered a sample of it and have been wearing for a couple of months on regular basis. Though the fabric is very soft, and colors offered are great, over a short period of time it has stretched and looks too loose and worn. So now i'm a bit skeptical about their sheer stuff.
