Personally I think that the gildan 2000 and 2000L are great blank shirts. Probably the most bang for your buck for a wholesale blank t-shirt. Not too thin but yet very affordable.

What it boils down to is your definition of "best" in terms of blank tees.
Some people think lowest price is "best"...i.e. fruit of the loom, gilden, tultex, etc.
(THINKING FROM THE SUPPLIER POINT OF VIEW)
Some people think quality is "best" -i.e. American Apparel, AAA, Organic Tees, Softer Tees
(THINKING FROM THE CONSUMERS POINT OF VIEW)
As a consumer I would prefer to receive/pay more for a quality shirt with a cool design any day rather than pay less for a ****ty shirt with a cool design.
Also depends on your market and who your consumer is whether your going to go with a low cost or high cost brand of shirt.
I love AlStyle Apparel. They have a women's shirt (2517) that fits just like the Gildan 2000L, but it's softer. They have really great men's shirts too.
