Default Question on buying wholesale t-shirts

A while back I read somewhere on getting t-shirts at case pricing (or something like that). I can't seem to find that thread now.
So far, I have only bought from BlankShirts.com and I get a fairly descent price but didn't know if I could possible get the tees cheaper someplace else.....
I am needing several hundred tees now and that's what made me think of the "case pricing". How does that work? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Brenda

Some distributors do enforce the case (1 case same style, color, size) for non-regular customers to get the case price. Some do not. Some require a yearly minimum $ amount to keep the case price. Personally, I get case price (on any quantity) from all of my primary suppliers.

Let us know where you are and we can reccomend distributors near you. You will want to choose the closer distributors to keep shipping costs and time to a minimum.

When youdecide on a distributor , tell tham you want to use them as your primary and would like to get case pricing on all of your orders. I think you'll be able to find one that will. The distributors are in a pretty competitve market, and often will extend case pricing to get your business.

Just ask, the worst they can say is no. Then you try another one.

Good luck

Sorry, I missed your post. I am in N. Central Florida area. So to get a case price it HAS to be the same size? Hmmm, maybe I don't want to do that then? How many shirts come in a case? 72 I think I read somewhere?

No, many dist. will give case price on ANY quantity, size, color mix. You just need to find a dist. willing to do that.

You might want to try Virginia T's. They have a dist. center in Jacksonville. I have used them (their Va. dist. center) for years and they have been pretty good to work with.

I was already a member on Broder Bros. (just have never ordered from them) and I just spoke with them and I have to buy the same size for the case pricing.

I will try Virginia T's.

Just spoke with BlankShirts also and the price you see is what you get. They don't offer anything cheaper unless you order 500+ and then you get an additional 5% off.
Now I am going to look for Virginia T's

OK, I guess I can't order from Virginia T's because I don't have a tax ID #.

You need to deal with major distributors (the kind that require a taxid/resale permit and don't show you their pricing when you look at their public website) to find better deals and case pricing.

I found this thread in a forum search for case pricing. I think it's the one you're talking about that lists several vendors who will give case pricing on low minimum orders:

http://www.t-shirtforums.com/wholesa...ts/t12940.html

You will need a taxid/resale permit in order to get case pricing from those type wholesale t-shirt distributors.

I am blind I guess because I can not for the life of me find where I register for a tax ID #. I am in Florida and have went to myflorida.com and sunbiz.org
I'll keep looking.
