I wish companies that sold clothing also sold samples (like a square sample) of the material that you could print and test on instead of having to purchase an entire coach or pants (that are expensive). I was asked to put transfers on dobby polyester, but I don't think it would work. instead of trying a $20 jacket to see, it would be nice if companies had a $2 square you could purchase and then print on it and keep for samples in your office to show customers the feel of the material as well as the printing on it. Anyone know anything like this?

There are also things called t-shirt pellons that screen printers use to do test prints. They are sort of like t-shirt fabric.

Pellons are screen printing supplies, used to test prints before production

I don't know if they come in different fabrics like Nylon though
