which t-shirts are better for screen printing and wont shrink a lot in size? Oh and have a heavy feel to them also.

That is my choice. I was thinking of using hanes beefy or tagless.

I prefer the anvils. They are more consistent in weight and have by far fewer flaws that Glidans. We mainly use them, great shirts, but we do still buy Gildan as a backup, anvil has more options as well.

Gildan discharges well, that's one reason I use them a lot. (discharge screen printing, where you remove the shirt's dye to make the printed design)
I have heard that beefy-t doesn't. And gildan has so many colors!
