Default Question about fabrics

I have a client that wants some long sleeve shirts made for his business. He has a construction business and he wants his crew to be able to wear them on the job while the work. The reason he wants long sleeves is so they don't get sunburned working on roof tops. I was wondering if there was a particular brand or make of fabric that breathes particularly well. It seems like such a material would be great because it will keep the sun off and they will be able to stay cool. I'm thinking everyone will just say cotton but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Thanks
gnarle

I would say cotton is your best bet. You can get polyester 'breathable' athletic-type goods, but not sure they would be durable for this type of an application. It's also a preference thing, some of my customers swear that 50/50s are more comfortable than cotton..

I'm thinking a 50/50 long sleeve. I have a landscape company that is looking for something similar and that is what we're proposing. There are also moisture wicking tees out there that would be perfect, but I haven't found a long sleeve one yet.
