since no joke everyone is like the most helpful person the planet here and its really unreal thanks to anyone and everyone who has been answering my questions over the weeks... as am i starting up my indy clothing line...
but today i filed for my tax ID so i can deal with wholesalers and vendors as for now i was looking at the prices on trendyblanks and they are looking pretty good for american apparel.. its like 3.75 or something for 35 white blanks of the standard tee. I was just wondering how the prices on there compare to dealing with AA directly cause I dont have an ID yet and Im just trying to get some numbers estimated cause I cant see an AA price list.
Re: american apparel wholesale/vendors/trendy blanks
You might also want to sample the new "fitted tees" from Anvil, Gildan, and Hanes Beefy T. I have not had the chance to compare them myself yet, but I am encouraged that the big brands are starting to catch up to the trend. Which probably means the trend is almost played out and something even newer is just around the corner.

Re: american apparel wholesale/vendors/trendy blanks
American Apparel wouldn't let me setup a direct account with them since I don't screen print the garments myself. They told me to have my printer contact them to get their wholesale price list. This was pretty annoying, oh well I setup an account with TSC and they are pretty sweet. I guess that's just AA's policy. Its all good though, once I hit the higher numbers I found a supplier in China that makes a pretty much identical product for less than 1/2 the price and the quality is top notch.

It's not just AA's policy - most distributors have the same policy. Basically they figure if you're not decorating the apparel you have no need to buy it, and they want to protect their print clients. Plus they don't want people re-selling the blank apparel, and if you're not decorating it they tend to jump to the conclusion that that's why you want it.

Would you mind letting me in on the company in China who makes the shirts?
