Hi all,
I've been thinking about all-over sublimation prints or doing more than just the standard print in the standard location. But this requires the garment not yet be assembled. As a garment sewer, I know that assembling a tshirt is not that difficult. I'd like to print the whole sleeve for example.
What if you could order all the pieces to make the shirts and you contract a local sewer to put them together? Then there would be no limits to what person could do.

Susie...I think that is such a narrow niche market that it would hard for a shop make much doing this. If you had a great design and the garment printed afterward...maybe but just ordering pieces and then having local seamstress sew it together is something I would not even consider

Any thoughts anyone?
Hi Susie, I think this is done quite a bit for high fashion items.
Sometimes to get the type of all over prints you want, you have to do the printing before the garment is put together.
I've seen this done with dye sublimation before; it looks really nice.

Hi guys,
I guess I was thinking more of a niche-y item actually. There's a shop here it town doing cycling tops etc from a vapor apparel type fabric - all over sublimation placement prints and they look absolutely fantastic! I'm out on the Wet Coast and people seem to go for that stuff around here.
Thx

Yep, I was at the Vapor Apparel booth at a recent tradeshow and I talked to them. They can actually either do the work for you or give you a source for that type of dye sub all over print.
