Looking for these types of shirts from overseas from places such as China, South America, the middle east, etc. Any info on finding these contacts would be greatly appreciated. Also, if any state side companies are as competitive in price, their info would be appreciated also. thank you.

Many of the US based wholesale companies do a private label service where they will custom make a garment under your specs. There are also similar high end tees (comparable to vintage fashion tees) that can be purchased in the states without having to meet the high minimums and long turn around time that an overseas company will coincide with.
I am working with the same style tees and I have been pleased with the fit and quality of continental clothing, American apparel, and pacific sports. You should sample some of the blanks from these companies before you do an overseas order.

Which blanks have you tried so far?
Have you looked into American Apparel, Article1, Pacific Sports, Continental Clothing, Alternative Apparel, etc?
If you're buying by the 1000's, you can get garments custom made to your specs by finding vendors at alibaba.com

As Rodney mentioned alibaba.com is a good starting point to find factories overseas. However, I must warn you that unfortunately most are actually middle men and not the factory itself. This makes the transaction very risky.
We had to go overseas and meet and visit the factories facilities in order to make sure we where not dealing with a middle man that could take your money and not deliver.
In any case, unless you are ready to buy large quantities, buying overseas will not be cost effective. A container brings around 60K pcs, plus freight , plus duties, etc.. If you only need a couple thousands shirts you might be better off buying locally in US.
