Default Does anyone sell a sample pack of shirts? How to go about buying samples of high end?

Sorry folks. The search funcion gives me "shirt samples" as in printed shirt samples.

I have 10 or so different kinds of shirts sitting behind me but I need more. Does anyone sell a package of the mid to high end shirts?
I feel like i'm running in circles as I look for places that sell singles.

Some places have decent singles pricing but dont offer everything so i'd need to order from 5 different places.
I'm just wondering if this is what everyone does to choose their shirt?

So far the one i like the most is hanes beefy t but I feel it could get much much better.

The rest are sub par in feel and softness.. here are some that i have:
hanes 6.1oz tagless, gildan ultra 6.1o, FOL best 50/50 5930, FOL 5.6oz cotton 3930, FOL loftees 6oz, Anvil 979, 4 various jerzees.

So for "value shirt" category I choose beefy T. Now for something a little better...

did you buy singles at retail from 8 different stores? + shipping? or did you find a store that carries everything for decent pricing? : )

I ask because i'd rather not spend 20 bucks a store for every suggested manufacturer. Thanks for reading!

Edit: for example continental clothing.. do you just set up an account at every manufacturer and buy a single one?

Just trying to find the best way to go about this.

As far as sampling goes, yes it is best to set up accounts with as many different blanks manufacturers as you can (given they sell the specifics you are looking for)

If you are looking for a quality product, then investing the energy and money to sample from a variety of manufacturers assures that you will come as close as possible to the blank that you are looking for.

Even when I find shirts I like, I continue to sample from different companies in as many styles and colors as I can. This way I find the best fit/ fabric/ color combination I can for every shirt I offer, and add a deal of variety to my line.

Yes, that's usually what is done. Some of the higher end places only sell direct, so you'll have to visit each one to purchase samples from them.

Here's a thread with more info found under the samples keyword tag: http://www.t-shirtforums.com/wholesa...ts/t10559.html

Yes, that's the way it usually works.

I've thought about selling sample packs of blank tees through the t-shirtforums store so folks could get a few different brands in the same place, but I don't think the demand is there yet.

Thanks Rodney! I made accounts at alstyle, continental, and article 1 just yesterday. I was hoping somebody might be a distributor and carry each one or something : ) but yes, as you said i guess i'm the only demand.

I've been buying from Blankshirts.com for a few years. They have a large variety of shirts, sweats, hoodies, etc I've never been disapointed. Shipping is usually about $14 so I try to order larger quantities rather than just a couple, but sometimes I need just a special couple of shirts. The Port & Company tee's are reasonably priced and wear and wash very well. That is my favorite tee as I always know what I'm getting and the colors are aplenty.
