Question t-shirt help materials

Hi lui here,

Im just starting out at this so forgive me if I offend anyone,
I have been looking at getting t-shirts made but everywhere I look they are the same sort of t-shirts. I am wanting to make a t-shirt with different material for the sleeves and also different colors in the t-shirt material. Can anyone point me in the right direction of making this happen?
I am in Brisbane.

Cheers guys
lui

Hi alex, im not to shure what the type of shirts are? say if I order a bunch of Gilden shirts but I want shirts to have different color sleves, different color colars and trimmings, and also a different material for the sleves? I am wanting to find someone that can maket these types of shirts instead of bulk ordering a bunch of shirts that are all the same and just screen printing a design on them

What kind of quantities are you looking to order?

If you need 1000's of t-shirts, you can try alibaba.com and post a job request for an apparel manufacturer.

hey Rodney , thanks for the information. I just want to design a prototype first. Then order a whole lot. I guess I need to find myself someone who specializes in materials and can make a shirt cut out of different types of material.

I'd find a fashion student at your local art college or a seamstress to help with a prototype. Getting a company to make prototypes requires high deposits.

You can then send that prototype to a cloth cutter and fixer-up and say "Make me 1000 of these".

Define: "a whole lot"? Sometimes the manufacturers will have leads to people you can source for patterns.
