Default Some help with different shirt fits? Want to get this right!

Hi,

Im currently trying to get a run of shirts made and I'm really struggling with what style to go with. I've found that some of the blanks people work with seem to have very long arms and short, wide bodies. Ideally I would like a fit that is simular to American Apparel but I really can't afford AA themselves.

The screen printer Im dealing with offers: Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Jerzees, Gildans and AAA (and some skinny or fitted). The quality of the shirt is obviously important but the fit, for me, is definatly more important.

If anyone could help me out it would be very much appreciated.

Cheers!

Hello Kidnap

The most important part of picking you tshirt is what demographic have you targeted to sell you merchandise to.

Example boutiques in brentwood would not buy the Gildan G200 at any price.
The clients they have are more the American Apparel type.
But if you are selling to Nascar the Hanes Beefy tee is the shirt of choice.

I hope this helps.

Bella also has some 'Ladies' tees that, I believe, are cheaper then AA and have a nice fit and great soft feel. they do run small, though.

The AAA skinny fitted shirt (Gaziani 5301 style) is comparable to American Apparel.

Ask your screen printer if you can buy sample shirts so you can get the garment right before you place your final order.
