I just found a great company that supplies organic tees at reasonable prices. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard from or worked with them. The name of the company is organic apparel.
Re: Oragnic Apparrel: Has anyone worked with them?

Re: Oragnic Apparrel: Has anyone worked with them?
I just received my samples from Organic Apparel. They sent me a mens medium shirt and an envelope with the color swatches of the large assortment of colors they offer there organic line in.
Pros: Large assortment of colors; good cut for my market, meaning not skin tight but not a big box, more of an athletic cut; seems to be holding up to my abuse tests pretty well; minimal shrinkage; great customer service; Reasonably priced; They use cotton thread as opposed to polyester like many of the other organic companies out there so you can dye yourself if needed.
Cons; I wish the shirts were a little softer; neckline is adequate but I wish it was just a tad thicker but this is just nit picking; since they dye the shirts per order you can expect about a week turnaround time before they ship.
Re: Oragnic Apparrel: Has anyone worked with them?
Hi Derek, I just received my samples from Organic Apparel as well. I ordered a mens and a womens in natural/white.
Pros: I like the large assortment of colors. I also like the fact they are made in Colorado and in the USA. The cut seems adequate. The people I dealt with are fantastic, very friendly. They are reasonably priced.
Cons: The natural color is too thin and is see-through. I don't like it. I was hoping they would have been a bit thicker and heavier weight. I did not see any long-sleeved shirts on their site either, which is a bummer, because it means I still have to find another vendor. I washed each shirt once and noticed some shrinkage in the women's shirt. They did soften-up a bit after the first wash, but aren't as soft as the econscious shirts I am currently using. The medium is on the smaller side now.
Overall I am not sure. I wonder if the darker shirts look better. I just ordered some shirts from another company and hope they are better.
Re: Oragnic Apparrel: Has anyone worked with them?
They sent me an avocado colored shirt in a male and female and they were not see through at all. I have decided not to use them because the neckline and the length were driving me crazy.
For long sleeve organics, I am using Article 1. They are very soft and hold their shape well. I am also using their short sleeve shirts but it's hard to beat ECOnscious, which I think are great but they don't offer enough colors.
What other company are you getting ready to order from?
Re: Oragnic Apparrel: Has anyone worked with them?
Hi Derek, I am currently ordering Mens Organic from Econscious in S/S and L/S and Wms Organic from Hae Now in S/S.
I am considering ordering from two other US companies:
#1 Earth Creations and #2 Spiritex. Both manufacturer in the USA.
I just received my samples from Spiritex. I ordered black in mens and wms s/s and one of the shades of blue. The wms sample is soft and I like the cut. I haven't had time to wash test them yet, but should get to it this week. The mens shirts aren't as soft as the Econscious, but they look to be heavier and better made than the Organic Apparel samples I received. I would put them ahead of OA at this time.
I am trying to figure out when to order the samples from E C. They are coming out with an '08 catalog and have different colors in it. They are much more expensive than any other US manufacturer I've found.
Re: Oragnic Apparrel: Has anyone worked with them?
I just ordered samples from HaeNow. What do you think of the HaeNow male shirts? They look to be pretty well made but are they a big boxy cut, not soft, to expensive? I will order some samples from Earth Creations and Spiritex as well. Can't hurt. I am on the hunt for the perfect organic tee.
Re: Oragnic Apparrel: Has anyone worked with them?
Hi Derek, I am happy with the Wms Hae Now, but not sure about the Mens. I only ordered one color in mens and it is okay. I don't like the mens Hae Now as much as the mens econscious. Both have held up nicely in wash tests and I like the screen prints that I did on them and have gotten good feedback on both.
I am not wild about the fact that econscious shirts are manufactured in Pakistan, but the quality is hard to beat. The Hae Now come from India.
I really like the stuff I've seen on Earth Creations' site, the clay colors, organic fabric and manufacturing in USA are all plusses.
I looked into the Article 1 shirts but didn't follow up after I found out they were sourced from China...and some in Mexico. I'm personally trying to stay away from Chinese goods right now...
Let me know what you think when you get the next batch of samples in. I'll keep you posted if I find any other organics that I like. -- Cheers, Paul

I ordered a sample for Hae Now and I expected a "boxy" cut, but the t-shirt I bought felt 2 sizes too small. I'm hoping it was just labeled wrong.

That's funny. I just received my samples from HaeNow and the female shirts look very nice. The male shirt I ordered seems to be about 2 sizes to big. The shirt is huge and it seems to be a big boxy cut just as I was afraid of.

I think they must have mixed up the labels on our two t-shirts

Now that I see your post, I will have to check a few more shirts to see if this is an ongoing problem they are having. Did you contact them about it?
Cheers,
Paul
I ordered a medium and I am swimming in this thing. It is the same size as one of the X-Large samples I have. Kind of an odd problem they are having. The neck on this is also extremely high. It almost sticks up at a 90 degree angle and is very thick. The female shirt seems to be put together very well though.
