i love this site...its like a tshirt encyclopedia
Hi, I am looking to find suppliers who can sell me the heaviest weight urban tshirts in white and black in wholesale. Most of the tshirts that claim to be heavy are only about 210 gsms. What i am looking for is 230 gsm. Shakawear is a good example. i have a requirement of about 1000 pcs a month which can only grow. We are based in NY and have stores in Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta etc. I would also welcome someone who can custom do this for me in wholesale prices

If you want an international manufacturer, you may want to try alibaba.

If you contact a few garment factories, they should be able to help you get custom garments made. Companies like RoyalApparel, Camber USA,and other companies listed here can do custom garment manufacturing.

You might want to contact GarbTenement out of Toronto. I think they do something very similar.

hi thanks for the advice. my first preference is domestic wholesalers with good price. if not, i will get some tee's from overseas in 230 gsm and in Akdmks specs which will be the heaviest tees available in the east coast for the cheapest price..do you think if i buy and stock such tees, i will find buyers?

It depends on your marketing and advertising plan

I saw some pretty heavyweight t-shirts at camberusa.com. Heaviest I've seen.

They aren't "urban t-shirts", but I bet you could contact them to make them to your specs.

they're using a 220-240gsm bamboo/cotton blend, not for eco reasons but for the supple feel.
