This is my first post on t-shirtforums.com, so excuse me if this question may seem redundant, but I haven't seen an answer to it yet. Here goes... Regardless of price, what is the absolute best t-shirt to print on? I'm in the process of gathering info to launch my new brand, but I'm still very new to the whole process. I'm seeing things like American Apparel and even Pacific Sports on one post, but I figured I'd directly ask all you pros out there. The one condition that I have for this is, I want the shirt to fit fairly snug all the way down to the waist. I hate t-shirts that fly open at the waist as if you were wearing a poncho or parachute of some kind.
My vote is American Apparel, but they run small and the tanks shrink. They are form fitting like you want. I weight 106lbs and have to wear a large in the tank and tee. So you could potentially miss business by not being able to fit some customers. And if anyone out there that uses American Apparel has advice on that, I'll take it!!

Later guys and thanks a lot for the replies,

Sorry, there's no real clear cut answer to this question. that's probably why you haven't found an answer.
It all depends on your own preferences and customer needs.
Your best bet is to search through the threads for slim cut or vintage t-shirts and try (buy samples of) a few of the brands posted.
That way you don't take one person's (or 4 persons) "best" and get a whole bunch of shirts printed with that garment and find out that you hate it because your opinion is different than theres.
