YES tube socks! Laugh all you want but they are gonna make a come back. I want to see if I can find a wholesaler that carries tube socks. Not plain white ones but the ones with the 2 or 3 colored bands at the top. I can't find a picture of what I'm after right now but will post one as soon as I do. I'm sure everyone here has worn socks like that at some point in their life. I know I did when I was a kid. 6-10 I'm 27 now.
Socks are not distributed wholesale in the same way as t-shirts are. Most socks are imported. U.S. sock knitters are in the North Carolina and Kentucky area. You might try Overstocks.com for some leads.
