They use different specs for the different designs, so one may be a certain weight/finish/style and another design may be something completely different.
Also, as you say, they are custom made, partly to make sure that they don't feel/look like any other blank style in the market. Those are some of the luxuries you get when you buy t-shirts buy the thousands
I think the Citylab shirts fit that genre pretty well.

Thanks Rod.
I will look into Citylab and see if they have anything similar.

sounds great.
Have you ever tried one of these tshirts on?. I'm pretty sure you said something like this on another thread. JW.

Thank you.
Yep, I bought their "sampler" pack from eBay (a few different colors of the same size).
They are heavyweight, ringspun cotton, good necks, nice sizing. Durable feeling...soft. Personally, I like them better than pro-club (and probably the Hanes beefy).

who would you personally market these shirts to? If I may ask

Thanks again Rodney
If I was selling shirts to an upscale/urban/hip hop market, I personally would use those shirts. For example, the type of t-shirts that sell for $25-$40 in the mall stores like D.E.M.O.
With the right graphic, superb printing, labeling and maybe a funky tag or two, it would fit right in (in my opinion). Your mileage may vary

That is the exact market that I want to target.
I will be checking these guys on ebay to see what we can work out.
Thanks a whole lot Rodney! you opinion is greatly appriciated.
I went to the CityLab warehouse here in NJ about a month ago, and checked out their wares. I like their urban tee, it is heavy-weight, decently soft, etc. Keep in mind they run large, even for an urban tee, where it looks like their 2x is more like a 3x.
I had heard ppl praising their hoodies, but when I actually saw them, I was a bit disappointed in the quality.
They have a new tee with premium cotton, not priced yet - probably to be double the price of the regular tee. The sample they did have did NOT have the same cut as their regular tee.
I would love to use premium cotton for urban (urban) tees. Anybody else know of any?
Well, I don't really know if I can describe it. It has a durable feel, very soft but somewhat "rubbery", seems very tight-woven...it must be some sort of finishing. I've heard the term a couple times, not just by CityLab.
