I originally was looking for wholesale blank bamboo tees, but couldn't find exactly what I wanted. Has anyone found a bamboo fabric supplier they're happy with, or know of any suppliers I should contact? Would it be ridiculously expensive to source the material myself and have the shirts made? Thanks for your help.
Of the companies I've found in the U.S., I'm most interested in Pickering International (pickhemp.com) in San Francisco. Has anyone worked with this company before or know someone who has?
Hi Jennifer, I just ran across this company a week or so ago when I was looking for bamboo information: Organic Culture
I haven't worked with the company, so I can't give any "recommendations", but I figured it would be worth passing on as a lead in case you wanted to check them out.
I'm not too impressed that they don't have their "own" website, but there may be reasons behind that.

mmm, I've emailed with them before to get their wholesale pricelist - for t-shirts, not fabric. Wasn't impressed - they are selling HaeNow t-shirts with QUITE a markup. Don't know where their fabric comes from, though. Must be a different place, since they say it is Made in the USA, and HaeNow's stuff comes from India.
Don't know if it is useful information, but thought I'd let you know!

JenniferG, I was just wondering if you ever went through pickhemp.com or another manufacturer to have your bamboo shirts made to your spec.? What did you find out during the process? Is it cost effective and what are the minimums? Are you still going through the process? I am thinking of having shirts made to my own specs using organic cotton and am just now looking into it.
