They have their entire catalog online and a warehouse with a storefront just outside the beltway at 59 south (towards sugarland). The address should be on the site somewhere.
If you purchase from them, I suggest calling instead of placing an online order. Often times the phone person can answer questions you may have and give you possible discounts that the online store may not.
Yes, I have ordered my shirts from them so far the experience has been a good one.
As for the best luck, do you mean for printing on, shrinkage, fading, fit, neckline... the list goes on and on. Regardless of the details everyone has a different opinion about what they think is best. I suggest that you search the forums for "Best T-Shirts" or something similar as a start.
Compile a list of 5-10 different brands and or styles (50/50, 100% cotton, tight fit loose fit...) and purchase one of each brand in the same size and style (the size you wear). I would suggest ordering something with color, I’ll explain in a minute.
If your testing the printing, print on each of the shirts and see which shirt gives the best print for you. Once you have printed on the shirt (or before). Put them on, determine what fit is the best. Ask your friends, coworkers, whoever... Figure out which you and your peers think has the best fit/feel also. Record your results
Then put them in the washer and wash them on hot, and dry them in the dryer print side out. The reason I say to do this is because no matter how many people you tell to wash your shirts inside out and hang dry, people are going to do whatever they want. After you pull them out of the dryer put them on again and see if you still feel the same about your favorite shirts as you did before you washed them. Did they shrink, fade, get rough to the touch....
Or you could just go with someone else’s suggestion, which may or may not suite you best.
Broder and Alpha both operate out of the same facility in Houston...basically because they are the same company. I usually buy from S&S but in a pinch I will buy local and pay the higher price and do a pick up.
Yea, thats what I assumed. I live about 15 miles or so from the Alpha wharehouse, so I just go pick them up myself. But thanks for the info. I'll check out S&S too.
15 miles?? wow im impressed thats extremely lazy not to pick up urself id luv to b 15 miles from a wholesaler who physically stocks everything so u can c, good luck!
lol oh alright yea I seem to be the one who missed something, had just written a lengthy post here on ecommerce carts...
i dont happen to be as close to such a good wholesaler so id love it if u gave me ur opinion....
in looking to get into slender fit tees, but locally only find the common brands like Fruit..Loom, Jerzees or Gildan... comparing in 50/50 small (other sizes feel the same).. FTL S seem a narrower than the other 2, if aiming for a better "slender fit cut" how do other harder to find brands do, have u tried any of these.. american apparel article1 alt. apparel, continental or pacific.. and are they still a S or do they bump up a notch to M.. wouldnt wanna order a batch fit for 8yr olds either, FTL S is my "guide" sotosay for wide tall & neck
I have used AA and they are a slender fit. I have not used any of the others. It probably wouldnt hurt to just order one of whatever shirt size you wear from the other brands and compare yourself too.
