Default Anybody tried the Anvil Ringspun shirts?

Just wondering if the quality compared to some of the other high end tees. The price sure seems right!

Yeah, I've tried them... not bad but odd. They say preshrunk, but they are not. They are sized a little big and when you wash them they tend to draw up at the hems so the bottom and ends of sleeves hang funny. But they have a better feel after washing than the hanes version. Comparable to American Apparel in feel but not in washability. I think the only way they will really work for our customers is if they are going to wear them tight. Anyone wanting that shirt for a loose fit will be disappointed in my opinion.

I just started screen printing. My first batch of shirts were all 5.6 oz. ribbed Anvils. They are not soft at all.

I got another batch of shirts today and I tried several different ones this time including the 6oz ribbed anvils which seem softer.

I also got some of the anvil lightweight ringspun fashion fit. They are only 4.5 oz. They are about the same price as the 6oz ribbed anvils I think. I think they are the cheapest ringspun shirts of all at shirtsupplier.com.

I have not screen printed on any yet, but they feel silky smooth. They are just like the t-shirts they sell at Express for Men and other fashion stores.

The 4.5 oz form fitting ringspun shirts may not hold up as well in the washing machine. My Express for Men t-shirts start to get small holes after numerous washes. However, that is what is in style.

I'll let you know if I have better luck screen printing on them.

I love the Anvil 980.

I find them a bit larger compared to the Tultex, Hanes or AA equivalents. Comparing Large sized test shirts.

Are you still using the 980? Or have you switched? Thanks.
