How would I go about finding a one stop shop in Canada, or the US that do everything all in 1 place? Is this the best way to go since you can do your garment all in one place?

Do you need custom dyed blanks? If not, then no need to find a company that offers that service. You just need to find a screenprinter, they will be able to offer you a wide selection of pre-dyed blanks and print them to your specs.

Just look for local screen printers in your area (like via your phone book). Most of them can both screen print and supply the blank t-shirts.

If you talk to a few, you'll find out of they can dye them as well.

Default How to source/get rates from "one stop shops"

Hi, I guess I should start looking around for one stop shops (that supply the blank garments, dye them, embellish them and silkscreen them all in one place instead of the garment being sent from business to business). Would it be cheaper to have this done in Mexico and have them shipped in duty free because of NAFTA? Or can you have this done just as cheap in the US? Is there like a listing page anywhere of all the one stop shop type companies that do all of the stuff I need done so i can get rates from all of them and compare?? Do you think this is the best way to go about having my garments made?? thanks

It really depends on what it is your making, budget, quanties and other factors.

If this is your first time.

I would say start local and small.

If this is a grand project.

Hire a consultant/branding company. They have all the contacts and are in the biz.

but, my opinion is not written in stone. Follow your gut feeling and go with.

There are a lot of members here who have done it in their own special way, may be they will step up and share their views/experiences.

best of luck.
