Default Re: manufacturing hoodies

Quick question:

I have a hoody that I LOVE. It's an older LRG hoody that is incredibly thick and I would love to have more however since LRG hoodies are thin and I could do without the massive prints all over them... with that being said Does anyone know how I can measure the weight of the fabric to determine how many oz it is? Unfortunately there is no RN number only some number random number on an inside tag that maybe someone can help identify for me:

NB2002108A1BG

Any help would be great. thanks!

In order to measure the weight of the fabric, you'd need a sample of just the fabric... since it's your favourite hoody, cutting it up isn't really an option. So unless you can find one in a thrift store to cut up, about the best you can do is buy a range of hoodies in different weights and make your own subjective comparison (or find out information direct from the manufacturer, but if it's an old style that may not be possible).

There is a chance someone here just knows, but basically it's not really something that can be easily objectively determined (unless you're willing to damage the garment, in which case it's a piece of cake).
