Supima is basically American Pima cotton and it guarantees that the cotton/yarn is 100% pima cotton and not a mix... its more expensive and basically you pay extra for the certification. Id just go with regular pima from a reliable provider
I am looking for high quality pima cotton t-shirt blanks with low minimums. Do you know of any manufacturers?
I am also interested in finding some silcone washed t-shirts as well if anyone can assist.
thank you
Pima Cotton is a generic name for extra-long staple (ELS) cotton grown in few locations around the world and in very limited production. Peruvian Pima Cotton is very prized all over the world as a luxury fiber, with a very soft feel and brilliant luster. It is a super fine raw material for the manufacturing of clothing directed to the most demanding consumers who search high quality, durability, extreme comfort and elegance. Armani, A/X , Express use this kind of cotton for their t-shirts.
Supima is the American branded pima cotton. I am actually going to get some made for myself and someone else to get the minimum in colors black, white and grey. Is there any interest in this still? Looks like this is a old thread. Is anyone currently using Supimas and if so what weight?
I am going to do waterbased printing on them.
