Default Non-AA shirts with lots of color choices

Greetings friends,

I've been using American Apparel shirts for my recent projects, they're a popular brand. However one customer isn't thrilled with their fit, the AA men's XL (2001) doesn't fit a guy that normal XL fits, and a woman who has worn size L girly Ts barely fits into AA's basic female T (2102).

I've been looking at the various choices at ShirtSupplier.com and the girly shirts don' have the same color choices that American Apparel has which is a problem for the design we're trying to print.

I'm new and still learning so please forgive my noob question, can I get recommendations for non-American Apparel shirts (that fit larger, like Anvil, Gildan or Hanes) that have a good color selection? I am looking especially for a color like AA's "asphalt".

Wes,
Gildan has tons of colors, and you can easily access them through various suppliers.
Sanmar also makes a brand, "Port & Co." that has a great color selection. I prefer the Port brand over Gildan in most cases because it is more of a truer fit. Gildan's sizing tends to run on the large side.

You can see the warehouse map to see how many days away you are for shipping, here:

Hope this helps!

Alstyle 1701 has some good color choices (you can get them from Alstyle.com) and they have a more classic, roomy fit than American Apparel.

I use gildan 5000 for unisex and mens.

I use Alstyle 5562 AAA™Jr Sheer Full Length T for female fitted.
