i was wondering if anyone is familar with any company that might make shirts similar in style to the pro-clubs, but ringspun. If not, if any one is familar with any companies that might have shirts at least 6oz and are ringspun. Currnetly I have samples of the following shirts and they all are lacking what im looking for:
Alstyle 1701 (ringspun): nice but not too thin
Diamond Star 1801N (ringspun): actually im leaning torward this shirt, i just wish they made it in tall sizes and had more of an urban look, but so far this shirt is closer to what im looking for.
Jerzees 18z (ringspun): I love the feel of this shirt and it is exactually how i would like my shirts to feel, but the neck is too wide, and the rim around the neck is very little.
Shaka,Pro-club, and Pro-5: i mention these together because they all vertually appear to be the same. I love the way these shirt fit, love the tight neck, love the weight, but they feel like cardboard.
I have yet to get a sample of the 6oz hanes beefy tees but if anyone is already familar with those shirts any advise would be appreciated.
Ive even persued that, what seems to be impossible task of considering luxe-t's, but i cant even get a sample of their shirt from them, nor can i get an idea of their wholesale prices which are probably above my budget to begin with. this probably wouldnt be an issue for me though if i had the federal tax id number that they require, but thats yet to come. If any one could give me an idea of there wholesale prices and any other info on this mysterious company and their t-shirts i would appreciate it.
I really want to use some type of shirt that is ringspun for i believe the softness will promote quality. So is anyone familar with any other companies that makes shirts that are at least 6oz and ringspun and dont have a wide neck?

Hanes Beefy tee is a good sample to try. I would have thought the Jerzees Zt would be perfect for what you described, but that neck thing might hang you up on a lot of companies. Short of getting your own garments custom made, you might have to pick "the best" that's available.
M & O Knits has a nice ringspun shirt, but it's not 6 oz, it's 5.5 oz, but it feels heavier than the Alstyle tee.
Delta Apparel carries a 6.1oz ringspun cotton tee. http://www.deltaapparel.com
I'm not familiar with it so I couldn't comment on it. The Hanes Beefy-T's are really nice.
thanks you all. i appreciate the feedback from both of you. Do either of you know how painless it is to get a sample from hanes. I havent been able to get through to their 800 number do to the time difference throwing me off. I will also check out deltaapparel.com

I wouldn't go through Hanes directly for a sample. You could try one of their many distributors like SanMar.com, AlphaShirt.com, SSActivewear.com, etc or an online wholesaler like blankshirts.com
hey guys i have a question, originally i had mentioned how i love the feel of the jerzees 18z shirt, but i didnt like that neck on them. the ribbed neck seemed small something like 3/4 in (i had ordered a 3x shirt). but then i had stopped at the jerzees boot at the trade show today, and seen an 18zt shirt (size large) which has a bigger ribbed neck, more like an inch. this i liked.
so im just curious why the ribbed part would be smaller on a larger size of the same shirt. the guy let me take the large home as a sample, and even when comparing the two shirts together, one seem to be about one inch, and the other is noticable smaller. any ideas why this is?
im going to order a few more sample shirts from the sample place (tsc) and compare them again.
