Default T-Jet 2and FastRip

I have Vista on my computer and when I go to configure FastRip I get a psqueue.exe runtime error. Is there a compatibility issue with Vista? Trying to get Corel to print to it.

It seems to work fine on a XP machine with FastArtist, only issue seems to be the colors are really pale compaired to what is on the screen. I've tried most of the 'cartoon' settings as the file I am trying to print is only 2 or three colors.

This is all new to me and no sure what I am doing wrong.

What version of FastArtist / FastRIP do you have. For it to be Vista compatible you would need to at least have FastArtist 1.5.1 / FastRIP 9.0.

FastRip is version 8.5. From what you said it sounds like that may be part of my issue.

To upgrade from 8.5 to 9.0 was a free upgrade in the past. Perhaps one of the companies that services T-Jets can upgrade you for free now. If I remember correctly, you will need them to provide a new license file that matches your dongle for the upgraded software.

FastRIP 8.5 will not work with Vista. Works great with Windows XP but you would need to upgrade to 9.0 for Vista compatability.

I.m a Microsoft guy and I know that Windows 7 is still basically Vista under the hood, so if FastRip 9 works with Vista it should be fine with 7. Run the compability checker first to be sure.

We have tested FastArtist 1.5.1 / FastRIP 9.0 and it does seem to work with the new Windows 7.

Just keep in mind that it has to be FastArtist 1.5.1 / FastRIP 9 or the new EZ Artist / EZ RIP upgrade. Earlier versions will not work on Vista or 7.
