Default RIP Programs for MAC's

Hi all...

We are currently doing all our design on a Mac machine. Once ready, we save it to a flash drive, move over to a laptop hooked up to our T-Jet 2, and open FastArtist, then push it to FastRip.... blah blah blah blah...

Ok, so I am tired of going back and forth from Mac to PC just to print. Does anyone know of any good RIP software available for the the MAC that will work with the T-Jet 2? I would prefer to not loose any functionality of FastRIP if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Avi

Avi,

Do you have an Intel Mac? All new Macs since 2006 have Intel processors which allows them to run Windows.

FastArtist / FastRIP works really well in the Parallels Desktop software that lets you run Windows on these new Intel macs. I have a Mac and that's what I use.

I love the Mac also. Unfortunately all the RIP programs out there for direct to garment printers are Windows only. As you pointed out, you can do all your art and art repairs on Mac and import it into your printer. Or, as Alex pointed out, use an Intel Mac and shift the finished art to the Windows side.
