Default T-2 Needs a better way to load a shirt

I have read where people talk about what a pain it is to load a shirt in a T-Jet2 style printer. Has anyone ever given any serious thought into a better way load a shirt on these machines? I have gotten used to my machine and am comfortable with working on it and since the value on them seems to have tanked am considering picking up a second cheap one. But I loose so much time loading and unload this machine, isn't there some way to retrofit something more like a Blazer Express where the shirt platen is out in the open and able to load much easier. I just figured if somebody can "make a DTG printer for $150" surely somebody can fix one of these. Just waiting on shirts to print and thought I would throw this out there.
Later,
Kip

I have another board but for me the hard part is getting a bigger or thicker garment down into the bed and making sure that a corner didn't get under one end of the board so you have a high spot... I hadn't even realized how nice it was to load some of the other machines until I got see an Express in action he had the shirt on and it was going in seconds. I just got spoiled and now it makes me grumble when I have a problem loading this one. I know "Be happy for what you got, not unhappy about what you don't" Tha's what mama said.

Kip,
You may want to look into the Tucloc boards for the DTG printers - the bed size on the T-2 and Kiosk machines are the same. The Tucloc boards allow for more printable area and give a little more space for width and they have a nice area underneath to "tuck" excess garment.

Don, I can't find the Tucloc boards on your site. I would like to check them out.

When you wrote this I figured mine was one of the postings you read about this problem. That is the most aggravating and annoying thing. I posted the same question to the forum. Getting the shirt on the board is a piece of cake. Getting the shirt, while on the holder, just right in the bed without kicking up the rectangular loop and wrinkling the shirt is the pits! AND the designers must have realized this too because they came out with the Blazer and Pro that are easier to load.

I feel your pain
