I am currently having an issue of the magenta ink "fading out" as the print is going on. I am printing a red heavy design and after the first inch of the print, the magenta is nearly gone and it is just printing yellow. When we had this issue in the past I would clean the capping station, and where the ink cartridges sat on to the print head. If it continued I would lift the particular color on the bulk in stand until it was printing correctly. None of this has helped and i am out of ideas. All of the hoses are intact and there are no air leaks. It is like for what ever reason the magenta is not being pulled out of the cartridge. Even after the magenta is no longer printing the ink cartridge is full. If i do a head cleaning or press the ink button it works again momentarily.

Sounds like to me that your Magenta ink delivery needs to be flushed out.

cleaned the cartridge, it did nothing. so i replaced it. same result. it works fine for the first few passes then it turns to yellow. its like it cant keep the flow of magenta from the cartridge to the head.

Did you clean the magenta ink line and the bottle?

Looking for cloged printheads. I need some old printheads not actuly the head its self but the plastic part the carts set in, I got 2 new print heads with broken parts on them, and I should not say what company sold them to me (( officestoredepot.com )) But they will not replace them, So could anyone help?
I will Pay shiping + It's For the Epson 2200 or Fast T-Jet 2 cant aford another $500 for 2 more print heads

You could also check the ink tubes inside of the chain. They can and will shift during printing. I have seen cases where the tubes get twisted inside of the chain and get pinched at certain times during the carriage movement and restrict ink flow.
