hello everybody
got the next problem with my t jet 2

i start the machine it runs the 2 times from side to side
after i hit the load button the bed moves in position
the machine performs several head cleans
then there is a high pitched sound
the cariage moves about 2/3 to the opposite side of the home position right over the edge of the bed next to the small sponge
sits there for a bit then moves back to home position
and shows all red LED and red error eject flashing

please help

HOW IT STARTET
the machine was working but the head had some clogged nozzles and the carriage was broken on the side where the screw comes in (had it glued with super glue)but the machine was working just fine
then i changed carriage,head and ribbon cable
and put it back togheter and i have made a mistake fitted the encoder strip in the wrong way so i tought that is the error but after i fitted the encoder in right way still the same error all ink and error eject flashing
please help any ideas

I have had similar problems, mine was a bad connection at the ribbon cable on the print head. It was my fault I was trying to clean the head and I guess a drop of cleaning fluid ran down the cable to the connection. It fried a little black spot on the cable and also ruined the print head. ( Be VERY careful if you have cleaning fluid anywhere around the carriage!) Your parts may still be ok but I would check all the cable connections since you just had it all apart. Especially the little one that goes into the back of the carriage, I didn't even realize it was there until I had problems with it after a head change once. Look for any bad spots on any connection that you take apart also. Im no expert but I think connections would be a good place to look.
