Need to Register?

I bought a used Fast T-Jet 3. No software, no shirt board, no lid and no ink. I didn't know I'd have to pour so much more money into getting it up to snuff after the fact. Should I return it and get something else or is it worth it to plug away and try and make use of it? I only have around $3500 to spend on a DTG printer, if I return it. Are there any good models on the market for that price? I need any advice available. Thanks

If you can return it I would. You should be able to find a T-Jet2 in your price range with the software and the shirtboards included. The T2 is a much more reliable printer as well.

Thanks Karl. I'm happy to hear that there are better options. Like I said, I'm new to this and I thought I was getting what I needed, but turns out it's gonna cost a lot more to get this up and running. Sucks. Do you know of any reliable places to get T-Jet 2 or any other decent garment printers for that price range? I'm staying away from ebay from now on.

The classified ads here in the forums is probably the best place to start. Ebay isn't necessarily a bad place to look either. You just need to ask the questions about the condition of the printer and exactly what accessories and software come with it. yeah I agree. I had 2 t-jet 3's and sold them and I am actually subbing my work out
