Default Driver/ Software help fr T-Jet 3

I purchased a T-Jet 3 and it came with no software and I'm having trouble finding the driver. I'm trying to install a trial version of AccuRip just to make sure it's gonna work for me before I buy it, but it says that it can't find the driver. Can someone please help me out. Thanks.

Hit me up @ [email address]

or you could respond here. I'm new to the board so I'm not sure the best approach. Any further information would be appreciated too. If you know of better software (cheaper, but good enough to print well), that would help.

As per Harry at Equipment zone-You are not using the proper software. Accurip is a RIP program to produce black images on film positives for use in shooting screens for screen printing. It has nothing to do with digital garment printers or any T-Jet printer. For the Fast T-Jet printers you need to use the FastArtist / FastRIP software which was specifically designed for garment printing use on the T-Jets

Thanks. Is there any other software that will work on the T-Jet 2, besides FastRip/ Artist? It's kind of pricey. Also, do you know if the FastRip 8.5 works on T-Jet 3? I found one being sold on ebay, but I'm not sure if it will work. I'm new to DTG, so excuse the ignorance. That's why I'm here asking. Thank for the input.

Sorry, wrong software. I checked the FastRIP you were referring to on Ebay. What you need is the FastArtist/FastRIP software to run your T-Jet printer. The FastRIP listed on Ebay is for producing film positives for screen printing. Unfortunately US Screen gave the two different rips the same name - FastRIP. It always caused a headache when selling T-Jet printers because we always had screen printers telling us they already had the program. However they are entirely different programs and one cannot be used for the other. The only thing they share is the name - unfortunately. So to answer your question - that Ebay FastRIP will not work. The software name you need is FastArtist/FastRIP.

Thanks Harry. But please tell me there's an alternative to paying like $1200 for FastArtist. If not, I'm going to have to sell this printer and probably lose money on this whole situation. There has to be other software )cheaper) that will work, right?
