OK here is my problem, my company bought a T-jet 3 back in August of last year. It broke 2 months after we got it and when it was "working" it never was consistent. Never had a job that it didnt screw up. We sent the machine back at the end of December. I am now in month 7 of trying to get a refund from US Screen. I have e-mails stating the amount of my refund and that it would be processed in 2 weeks (that was 3 months ago). I then received an e-mail from CFO Mike Kuhlman stating that they only had half of my money that they could send us. That was the last I have heard from US Screen and that was over a month and a half ago. I am afraid I am going to have get a lawyer involved but am not sure if I will have to file suit in Texas or Arizona. Is anyone familiar with this process? Has anyone had to file suit against US Screen?
Yes it is possible to file a lawsuit against US Screen in Texas if you have the money to invest. Please understand we are not an attorney, just a victim of an unscrupulous company and from what it sounds you are too.
US Screen seems to have a habitual problem in trying to portrait that every situation with their clients are different or unique if you will; but the end result is consistantly the same...we, their clients get screwed in the end!
Anyhow, our suit is still pending. However, there are too many details to get into on a thread nor do I think it to be appropriate to get into here, so if you would like to contact me directly you can email me at .
From what I have read there are numerous lawsuits against usscreen. I don't know the outcomes but you certainly aren't the only one's getting the courts involved. I have read every thread and post in this category for the past year with great interest because we were so close to writing them a check for a t-jet over a year ago. I have kept up with things from a distance just for reassurance that we made the right decision. Many have gotten good results from their t-jet printers but more have gotten absolutely nothing from their investment. It is really sad what has happened to people and my sympathies go out to all of them.
We had a TJet 3 back in 2007 when they first came out, and had much trouble with it. US Screen picked it up & sent another machine, that one died a month later, and they tried to send us yet a 3rd machine, but we had enough. We finally got our money back after 2 months of waiting. Yes, you can file a lawsuit, but you need to know that US Screen has ceased operating, and although they are owned by Hirsch Intl, no one really seems to know or admit if US Screen will reopen. Also, the TJet 3 was abandoned as a current model by US Screen.
However, Equipment Zone in NJ is a very good TJet dealer that has helped a lot if users. I suggest you give them a call (www.equipmentzone.com). Good Luck.
I was wondering why I could not get in contact with anyone up there. How did you find out they are ceasing to do business? Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
I found out from the forums over at screenprinters.net, usscreen hosts that forum and this all started last monday. There are pics with for sale/lease signs and it looks like a ghost town.
Yes, it's all over all the forums. Very sad for all their employees, plus all the TJET & Blazer users out there. Try contacting Equipment Zone in New Jersey. They may be able to help you.
