Question bulk ink systems

Can someone tell me the pros and cons of the bulk ink systems. We are having problems with our ink flow on the t-Jet, we have heard of harry's Bulk Ink System and we're trying to figure out if this would help solve our ink flow problems? We are running CMYK with the white ink on an upgaded T jet standard! thanks!

WE switched our dtg kiosk from the original system to the bis from equipment zone about a month or so ago and my dtg is awsome I have had aperfect nozzle check from day one.We were having lots of issues with ink flow and starvation,i could not even print at anything lower than 720x720,with the bis i can and do print alot of shirts at 720x 360 wwhich saves alot of time.We recently took on a 325 shirt job that without the bis would have taken to long to do at 720 x720.Over all its the best money i have spent to correct a problem yet.

If you want additional comments already made on our EZ PRO Bulk Ink System, from T-Jet and DTG users, you can use the "Search T-ShirtForums" box on top of the page. Just type in EZ PRO Bulk.

We also have an upgraded standard (the red one) T-Jet. We got the full upgraded bulk white ink system. We took it down to AZ and had the tec go over everything about the machine with us. We brought it back the the UT mountains and had the same problems over and over again. We had either ink starvation or the ink spilled out everywhere! We did adjustments constantly during the day, with no luck in printing out one shirt! We've spent alot of money on our T-Jet..true it is one of the first. We even asked if they were considering making a machine with cartridges (no bulk ink)..they said no. It seems to me the long tubing going from the bulk ink system to the cartridges is just too long of a journey. We've had our machine in our shed now for 2 years doing nothing! Help somebody...is there a solution to our problem (we've run out of money!), or would someone like to buy the thing? It is hardly used.
Thank you. ej

Please keep in mind that our EZ PRO Bulk Ink System is not the same product as the US Screen bulk ink system upgrade that you currently have. There are substantial differences in design.

Thanks guys for the help...I just don't know anymore. Will it really work here. We have been thinking about our altitude (almost 5000ft), then the "pressure" might have something to do with it. We don't have much humidity, which helps I think. Are the hoses bigger? I need alot of positive feedback.

Thanks again. ej

Humidity actually plays a big part in proper performace. All digital garment printers should be operated with the humidity in the room they are in at 40% to 80%.

Harry,
What are the differences? They both look essentially the same. One running the chain sideways and the other up and down. EZ pro uses (T2 version) has three white containers and the US one has one big bottle. ???
Thanks

Thomas @Ka-Blam
Thomas,
There are several differences between the two systems. I'll mention a few. The EZ Pro Bulk Ink System for the T-Jet 2 uses wider hoses than the original US Screen version. From what feedback we've gotten from users, that makes a major difference in terms of ink laydown. It also features an adjustable height ink shelf, with about 8 inches of play, which helps adjust for different atmospheric pressures in different locations.

Instead of going through the cap, like on the US Screen system, EZ Pro hoses go to a separate location. That means the bottles are easier to fill. There are individual white ink bottles, so you'll be able to see if a white nozzle gets clogged, since that bottle will show less ink usage.

The EZ Pro also has a substantially different bracket that attaches to the carriage assembly. The design allows the entire EZ Pro Bulk System to be removed in under 1 minute.

Just as a note, US Screen decided to switch to the EZ Pro Bulk System as a replacement for their bulk system a few months ago.

-Alex
