I don't know what happened but basically every time I close and reopen fast artist/fast rip, I have to reinstall the program to be able to print.
My blazer pro doesn't show up in my printer folder on my computer but in fastrip it shows up as being there. I keep getting this error about permissions errors accessing the driver for the printer. Does anyone know what needs to be done?
If I remove everything and reinstall fast artist and fastrip, it works until the next morning when I come in, I have to do it all over again. I've been on hold with US screen for 25 minutes and am still on hold with them. If anyone else has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

When you reinstall, have you made sure to delete all of your drivers before a clean install? If not you might have a error in your epson print driver, and it might not be fixing it because it is not replaced. I would delete all drivers, go to epsons download area, and download an updated epson driver for your printer. Then do a totally clean install. Hope this helps Let us know how things go.

I also see on your list, that is it showing a connection problem with your usb cable here :

Have you checked your cable to make sure its getting a good connection? If so, this also leads me to believe its possibly a driver error happening.

I've done a clean install. Before when I reinstalled it still had my settings for fastartist. This time it doesn't but the problem I have now is it says the blazer is the printer but when I go to print to fastrip it's not keeping the alignment from my templates, nor is it printing to fastrip, it's trying to say it was an .eps file.
I would try to contact Harry at equipment zone. He is really good at figuring out problems, and is usually really happy to help. Maybe he can help you.

Im not too sure why you would be having this problem but here are a few suggestions. When you first install your epson driver, which is in your drivers disk that came with your FastARTIST package, you need to manually select your usb port. Select the one that you see and have your printer connected to. This should help with the usb error.
As far as uninstalling and reinstalling, any time you remove the program you need to also make sure the the FastARTIST folder is completely wiped out. You do this after you have uninstalled FastARTIST, then you right click your Start button and go to explore. Then go to Program Files and delete the FastARTIST folder. This folder will stay in there even after uninstalling it. Now you want to reinstall and make sure your Dongle is plugged in when installing your software. After you have installed the software. Open FastRIP, set it up, and go to Printers> Manage Printer> then select the box under Contro Panel. This will also add the printer to your printer and faxes folder. While your there in the Manage Printers, select the box with the 3 dots under Port and select the Infinate boxes. Also make sure that your Epson is selected under the Port. FEW........Hope this can be of some help.
You have a USB communications problem, in the case of this error it can no longer find the device on the USB connection and you would also find that if you get this error, the device will also have disappeared from your control panel- system - hardware - device manager
Presuming its all pluged in and switched on, the most likly cause will be using to long USB cables and / or going through to many hubs.
Try a short and high quality USB 2.0 cable and make sure it goes through no hubs.
There is no reason why a reinstall should clear this, but if you have a USB connection issue it can come and go.
David is right. Dazy chaining your usb cords to one another or even having one to long can cause this. Even plugging it into a usb hub can also cause this. You want to connect directly into your computer with a six foot usb cable and it has to be 2.0.
Are you able to perform a nozzle check or head cleaning from the Epson driver? If so, check the port location for that driver and make sure it matches the one for FastRIP for your Blazer. If you can't get the printer to perform one of these functions then either the port is set wrong or one of the USB communications issues above exists.

I have the same problem, my printer sits at index position when I press the green buttons. It hits all the sensors too. at imachinegroup.com their help section you can download some files to put into the folder that fastrip is in but I don't know how to do it. I am going to call today to find out.

What files are IMG allowing you to download? You should have everything you need in the software. I would probably ask CaveDave since he is the one who helps develop the software. Thats if it is a software issue at all.
Sometimes you need additional drivers and that is my problem. You can download some files in the support section. I'll figure it out tomorrow then post up what I found if it works.
