Default Color Pallete

I was advised to print the color palletes to a shirt on my Tjet2 to take out the guessing. I use CorelDraw12 and Photoshop 7 and have searched in these programs to print these colors. Can someone give me a "how to" or where to find?

Lisa,

I am not sure how you can create a color chart in Photoshop, but you can do it in corel using the Visual Basic feature (click on Tools --> Visual Basics --> Run --> select All Standard Projects in the Macros in field --> select CorelMacros.CreateColorSwatch --> click Run button.

But since I wanted a color chart that I could use for both vector and raster graphics, I created my own color charts with corresponding color pallete / color swatches. You can download them here - CMYK & RGB Color Charts - MultiRIP Sublimation, Transfers, Photograph and Direct-to-Garment Printing RIP Softwares. Feel free to use them if they help you out. The videos will show you how to load the corresponding color pallete / color swatches.

Good luck,

Mark

Mark, thanks for this information. I will print your instructions and use them as a guide. Maybe this will help when matching the colors.

Thank You

In FastARTIST you can create you own swatch charts, from RGB, CMYK, Pantone and many others.

For RGB / CMYK, go to the FIle - Color Swatch menu, then select RGB or CMY / CMYK swatch.
For custom swatch, load up a palette such as Pantone ... menu and select Load New and search the palettes folder. There are Pantone and various color guides.
With the palette loaded then select . menu and Create palette swatch.

To use these in Corel , PhotoShop or anywhere else, Publish as a PDF and then you can import / open them in other programs such as Corel.

Best regards

-David
