i installed a new head with new ink cartridge. When sending a print command to the T-Jet2 printer the Print Head moves like it is printing but no ink sprays out.

can you help.

If it was printing before you put in a new print head I would first check the connection of your print head ribbon cable. When you put the new print head in you may have not pushed the ribbon cable in firmly enough into the print head. Make sure that the ribbon cable is not loosely in the print head and thereby preventing proper communication.

Thanks Larry, but all seem to be ok with the connection. What else i can do !!!! Thaqnks for helping me.

Did you try checking the small connection in the back of the carriage. That can sometimes come out. Also, did you unplug the printer when you replaced the head. Your ribbon cable might have burnt out.

Another thing to look for, are your cartridges primed, do they have ink in them.
