Does this happen only on shirts with an underbase, or on white shirts too? It might be you are not pretreating enough. Also, what kind of shirts are you printing to, 100% cotton shirts will give the best results, while a 50/50 will appear to be faded. When colors dull while pressing, I would check the curing temp, you should cure at 330F.
Just to make sure that the pretreatment is good enough you can spray a rich amount of pretreatment on a test shirt. Make it really really wet and let it air dry before drying it in the heat press.
Of course it will not be able to wash, but you can roule out the pretreatment as an source of error.

Peter gave you a great idea to try, also it might help us help you, if you were to post exactly what procedure you are going thru. Then we can see where something might help.

Peter did have a very good suggestion. BobbieLee also correctly pointed out that without knowing the exact procedure you are using it is very hard for any of us to troubleshoot. It could be a pretreat issue, a garment issue, possibly the settings in your software, your heat press time or temperature, even a humidity issue. The Blazer is certainly capable of very bright prints so I'm sure your issue can be solved. Please post your current procedure. Or feel free to call (800-408-0040 or 201-797-1504) or email (support@equipmentzone.com) our support department and one of our techs will be happy to help you.
Thanks everyone, I do spray a heavy pretreatment. and press it at 2-30 second times, at 330 temp. I have a light presser on the heat press also. Then I print 2 layers of white and 2 layers of color. Which they are not bright,, then i press it for 2- 30 second times again. I did call the usscreenprinters.net and they told me it "Could" be the dampers. I am not sure what they are but that is where they want to start. I do like the idea of spraying the pretreatment and let it air dry for a time . I will try that once we get the dampers. I will keep you all up to date.
Thanks so much for your help.

With any of the T-Jet Blazer printers you should be able to get great results with only one pass of white and one pass of color. All the shirts we print here for samples to send out and all the printing we do at trade shows is always only one pass each of white and color. As Peter pointed out, you do need to do a nozzle check to see what's coming out of your print head. We recommend that users of all printer brands always do a daily nozzle check before they start printing. I suspect that you may have some ink flow issue. The dampers, print head, and capping assembly would be areas I would check first. But I can say that doing two passes of white and two of color on a Blazer printer is way more then necessary.
Then I print 2 layers of white and 2 layers of color.
Wow! That is a lot of ink for a 4880 based printer depending on which resolution(s) you are printing at. I think Harry is absolutely correct that there might be some ink delivery issues going on. If you figure out what they are, you should find you are going to use less ink.
Yeah, you definately want to check the easy stuff first before you go around messing with dampers or even the print head. Best way to find out if your having issues with that is doing a nozzle check. Which you want to do everyday before printing to make sure you are going to get the best print possible. If your nozzle check is perfect, your pretreatment is great, and you are using 100% cotton, than it is as simple as selecting the correct print modes.
Remember to always cure your shirts at 330F. White shirts for 60 seconds and darks for at least 3 minutes.
sorry sent that one off bfor i was done .. it should read 1441 .. ours read 720x720 small md .... wee spent 6 months killing time .ink .print head. ???!!! happy printing
