Default 2 quick tips

For what its worth I was finishing up a 36 black t shirt order with a breast print and 12x10 full color print on the back. i had the machine error out about 4 times on the back print AFTER printing the white underbase but before printing the cmyk color pass.

Instead of tossing the shirts I went back into FastArtist and imported the same file but with no underbase. I placed that file directly over the prexisting file and slid the images over 5 clicks. I then deleted the original file and spooled the new color file after sending it back the 5 clicks to where it was. I rebooted the TJet and printed the job perfectly. Much easier than just tossing a perfectly good underbased t shirt.

Another tip I believe was previously posted here a few weeks ago. At night I wet a normal hand sponge and ring some of the water out. I shut the machine down and slide the bed forward. I set the sponge on the bed right next to the print head and this keeps the humidity/moisture levels way up after covering the machine up with a heavy tarp. I also keep 4 drops of cleaning fluid in both sides of the capping station and my machine works flawlessly.

I normally wait about a half hour in the morning to let the machine air out.

I have noticed immediate results in the morning after 1 head clean and I am good to go. A humid print head is a happy one. Hope this helps.

I also wanted to thank EquipmentZone (Javier) for his assistance in guiding me on how to solder in a replaceable fuse on the circuit board.

Default Re: 2 quick tips

I have done this same method many times to save shirts. Most of the time if I was doing large orders like that I would always just send a seperate file to the rip with color only for such mishaps.

I have also heard of the sponge method and it is a great idea.
