Default Color issues

We have a T2 and it actually prints what the color management screen looks like if it is set to Enhanced Settings. I usually have it set to off. And it looks like the way I would like to print it. USScreen says I have to work with the color management area. WTF? I am not a computer genius. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do it. My turquoise looks like a darker green. US Screen sends a video "explaining" how to do it and I was lost.
Please help if possible. I am have been trying to make this stupid thing work for a month and a half without luck. With my ink jet printer at home I don't have to mess with color management. I have a C6500 Konica Minolta don't have to do it and it cost over $65,000. It's not a DTG printer but I just want to plug and play. Scott and Co over there try, but that is all it seems to be. Try. I never have luck.

Hi Darin,
FastArtist has built in color profiles that are usually very accurate. The color profiles were developed over countless hours to try to ensure that what's on the computer screen will match exactly with the shirt.

In my own experience, at least, color matching is excellent and, when colors are a little off, it's easy to make adjustments to get exactly the colors you want.

We have a support department at Equipment Zone that can direct connect to your computer over the internet to check that the settings you have in your software are correct. It may be the case that all you have to do is make a minor tweak like saving your artwork in a different color mode (RGB, not CMYK) or making some other small adjustment in order for the printer to print out the same color that you're seeing on the screen.

Please give us a call! We'll be happy to help you get that perfect turquoise.

-Alex

Default Re: Color issues

Hello, We will try. I have had Us screen do it about 4 times now (they say the don't know what is going on). I have probably spent 8 hours on the phone with them. It has new print head, new ribbon, new capping station, new encoder strip, and I am so frusterated with it it's about to have a new owner. I sell enough to pay for it, but I don't make enough for it to go through the ink and shirts that I ruin cause it prints out wrong. I wish there was something out there with the additional plattens or I wouldn't own this product. That is the only reason I keep around. Let's hope you can do the trick. They seem to guess a lot over at us screen and their guesses have cost me close to $600 in just parts, no less I have been trying to get this right since Dec 16th. I just bought $700 worth of inks from you guys just because I would rather give you money than them any day.
One other quick question, I have read all the horrors about the T jet 3. I was thinking I need a back up printer. I have one in line that I could purchase from somebody that got it repossessed. It is in Florida and I am in Denver. He says, he doesn't know anything about it other than it is about 1 year old and repossessed. I am fairly mechanical. Would it be smarter to send it to you guys for a tune first then send to Denver? Would it be ok for me to send here and then try to see what is going on? Or just stay away from the T jet 3 all together and that, the product is still not right and I will be really frusterated with it too? Let me know your thoughts if this product acutally could be a productive one. Also, with all the problems is US screen fixing the known issues free of charge? I have read anything from boards to other things with this product. It would sure seem to be a recall of sorts from the customers view point.
Thanks in advance.
