Greetings,

I'm a couple months in with this t-jet 2.
Today I did a shirt for a friend and the colors,
mainly the light blues came out as yellow.......

What the heck is going on?

Did you do a nozzle check to make sure all the nozzles are firing? If not, put your cleaning cartridges in withe some cleaner and do 2-3 head cleans, let sit for an hour or two and do two more.

Did you purge the blue cartridge to make sure there is no resistance in the line?

Where to begin?

Yes, I did purge the system. I also did a nozzle check,
head alignment ect.... all looked great.

What I did notice was when I printed in 360 cartoon mode everything was great. When I printed in any other mode part of my image came out yellow. I would love to send you a picture to show what I'm talking about.

Sounds like your colour profile is corrupt, you may need it recalibrating.

Well you need a bit of kit, Spectrolino/eye-one etc. Where are you? You could try using the profile from the 360 mode?

The Blue is correct at 360 cartoon mode.

The yellow is not correct at 720 photo.

Both done with fast Artist/Fast Rip

try cleaning the encoder strip, then pull ink into the print head, then run a head cleaning and try to print it again...thats what i usually do

I could kick myself in the N@%S.......

I just got one and changed my ink, lines, capping station..... And never put the darn thing on....

I'm so cheap!

I'll try it in the morning but would love to hear from the others.

I replaced the code strip. Better, but I still cant print in anything other than 360 2pass standard.

Are you sure you have the latest printer packages? Log on to U.S. Screen Print & Inkjet Technology | Product Support and look under T-Jet 2-> Files and Downloads-> Software Updates to download the 4.7R printer packages and instructions for installing them.

If that doesn't work, I could remote connect to your computer for a few minutes to check that you have all preferences set properly.
