I have been in the sign industryfor 15 yrs, a year screenprinting and a few monthes back was injured and perm disabled and cant stand up to screenprint any longer to find an income again I bought a tjet on ebay, was told I could print from corel and found out it came without ink tanks, platen and software. I need to know where I can get the above for the best price and if there is somewhere I can download drivers or whatever I need to get started printing asap. also, do i have to buy ink tank from tjet or do the empty new kits on ebay or sawgrass work. All help is appreciated
thx

I would suggest a couple of things to get started. Not sure where you are located but I bought my T Jet 2 from Equipment Zone in New Jersey. They are a sponsor of this forum and actively contribute so I would not be surprised if Harry jumps in here to give you a more detailed response. I know that they carry these items but not sure how their pricing will stack up versus other sources.
You can also join the DTG forum at www.screenprinters.net which is the USSPI website. The tech support folks hang out there alot and answer various questions.
Of course, there are many people here who will probably jump in with various suggestions for you who own and operate T Jets.
Good luck.......

I also would reccomend Harry at equipment zone, hes a great guy and will help you get going in the right direction I myself have bought items from Harry such as my ink, even though I have a dtg Also there is another ink out there that is sold by dtginks.com, which is not dupont ink, it is there own brand and is cheaper then the dupont. I myself don't use this ink, but I know there are members here who do.

Hi Bob,
I'm Alex, I work with Harry at Equipment Zone. I'm sorry to hear about your eBay woes. We'd be interested in learning a little more about your situation and helping you in any way we can.
I'd be happy to tell you about all the elements that you need to print, help you find those missing components, and hopefully get you set up with a training class so you can get started printing ASAP.
I've sent you a private message with my contact info.
