Re: t-jet black ink led light on This is how I do it.... take that for what it's worth. On the front of the chip there are two small spots of clear/white plastic that push through holes in the chip then are flattened out so that holds the chip on the cartridge. With my x-acto knife I cut the top one off flush with the face of the chip then at the top of the chip use the knife blade to gently pry the top away from the cartridge. then slide the chip upward. Leave the bottom bit of plastic alone and that will help hold the other chip in place. Usually I can get the top bit of plastic to go back trough the hole in the chip and it stays in place just fine. If the chip trys to fall off, a dab of silicone to the top edge of the chip will hold it in place but you have to get the chip flush with the cartridge just like it originally was or you will possibly damage the contacts in the carriage. I'm sure that wasn't very clear and over worded but that's what I do.
