Here's a few samples of our efforts to print on dark shirts with our T-Jet2, the Juiced Print has a one pass underbase and one pass CMYK. The Johnson shirt is a design we normally do in vinyl but because the font is a wood grain (and weeding is a pain at times) we wanted to try it with the T-Jet, it also is one pass of underbase and one color. The Martz Racing shirt was our first production run on the T-Jet, 40 white shirts full color front and 5 color back. The Juiced shirt was pretreated with the dark garment solution and all the others were pretreated with the light garment solution with the exception of the white Martz shirts which had no pretreatment.
Happy to see that the T-Jet 2 we sent you is working out well for you. The prints look real good.

Thanks Harry,
I have to say doing white shirts is really a no brainer! once you figure out the registration, we did the Martz order Saturday it was 40 shirts both sides in about 5 hrs that included baggin' and taggin' the shirts and a lunch break, not a single ruined shirt....the only issue we had with the T-Jet was ink lights coming on after about 10-15 shirts (mostly the front graphic) which required us to shut down to reset the ink counters, then off we would go with another batch.
Now white ink....well more of a learning curve putting down the correct underbase, we ruined 3 shirts to get the Juiced print to our liking....not too bad really.
I have to say that we are very pleased with the T-Jet 2 we bought from you guys, we knew up front what the maintenance was going to be from all the info here on the forum, the manuals/dvds that came with the printer are a great asset also....and for our small shop it really fits in nicely.
I'll have one of our Support Department techs contact you to go over some techniques on white ink printing.
