Default White ink it's not working

I'm having a new problem with the machine since last week. I don't know why the white ink is not working. I tried to do everything I can and nothing happend. The last week I made 3 power cleanings. With the first one nothing happened with the white ink, the ink doesn't move by the tubes and there was not white ink at the capping station, so I decided to make a power cleaning with the cleaning cartridges and it goes well, so I made another one to remove the cleaning fluid from the tubes. I tought all was Ok so I printed some t-shirts well and the next day the machine stop printing white ink. I made a lot of procedures I readed on internet and nothing happended.I tried to push with a syringe on the back of the printhead, leave all night the print head on a paper towel with cleaning solution and a lot of stuff like this.
So I made another power cleaning today and I'm just wasting a lot of colour inks but not white ink.
We are really dissapointed with this machine, it's impossible to work regular with it. Can some one help me? I have a huge order and I really need to do it.

Thanks a lot

You did not mentioned what happened after you tried to push with a syringe on the back of the printhead,is anything come out like straight line of fontain?
do you know the HD cleaning fluid mixed with white ink will turn to be solid stuff gradually?
I experinced the same situation one month ago,and I ruine the tubes, and my Express never back to work again.
My suggestion is unclog the printhead as soon as possible, otherwise replace by a new one and dampers, and probably ribbon cable..........

Between printhead and tubes there are white plastic things call dampers.Inside the damper you can see grey coulor metal fillter, when cleaning fluid mix with white ink ,solid thing form and acumulate on there,
maybe after useing the cleaning catridge you should print a lot to make sure all cleaning fluid been flushed out the system,so you may just need to change the dampers($20-25 each).
To replace the dampers or take a good look at them, you have to pull out a metal thing on top of the carriage, and they will losen. anyone have any good idea? since my distributer charge money for tech support I feel down,down,down,down.............

Here are some suggestions from Michael in our support department:

"Without a more detailed explanation of what's going on, I can offer some suggestions.

First off I will assume these things. 1) The print head is not clogged. 2) The capping station is functioning normally (during a power cleaning). 3) the dampers are not clogged (cleaning solution went through them well). 4) the ink lines are not clogged.

If that is the case, I would be suspect about the bulk ink cartridges for the whites.
I would also be suspect about how clean the capping station / print head is (if there is ink build-up on either, a power clean will force fluid through, but when you print, you are not "forcing" ink through in the same manner).
Make sure the capping station and edges of the print head are clean.

For the bulk ink system, because the cleaning cartridges worked but the bis doesn't appear to, we would want to disassemble the connector that plugs into the printer and clean that out. I would guess it is pretty filled up with sludge. You can pop off the side of a cartridge to get to that.

Not knowing how old the machine is, and if daily agitating of the white inks is indeed happening, there could be some settling of the pigments in the bottom of the cartridge itself. This could cause it to gunk up and not work properly. Empty out a white ink cartridge, and see if that is happening. Also, note that the tube going into there may be too long and is actually hitting the bottom itself. Take it out and snip about 3/4 of an inch off so it does not land on the bottom of the cartridge, to prevent it from sucking up any "pigment heavy" white ink which will cause issues."

Hi, thanks a lot for your faster replies.
My machine is 10 months old. I cleaned the whit ink cartridges with hot water and they are perfect. Also this morning I cleaned the caping station and I removed the printhead and cleaned all the edges perfect.
It's weird cause when I removed the printhead I saw on the entrances of the dumpers grey colour and it must be white. Do you think is a printhead problem? I don't know what happend when the printhead is broken...

A quick and easy way to test the capping station is to fill the cap part of the assembly with cleaning solution or water or windex and perform a normal head cleaning. If the assembly is working correctly it will pump the liquid out of the cap and into the waste ink container. another thing that you can do is to remove the ink tubes from the dampers and pull with a syringe with the ink cartridge levers in the up or unlocked position and make sure that there is no obstruction or that the ink is easy to pull through. If it pulls through easily and you can flush the printhead and see that all nozzles are clear then I would look at the dampers being clogged.

I should amend my previous post, I see an error. Sorry it was a little late at night. When pulling ink through the ink tubes with a syringe the cartridge levers have t be in the down position rather than the up position. You will not be able to pull anything with the levers up. Sorry for any confusion.
