Hello,

We reseted our Fast T-Jet Blazer printer (epson 4800 base) to default settings by accident. And now when printer starts it says REMOVE PAPER on LCD and you cant go to menu and change settings , because you need printer to be READY to do that.

How we should solve this problem?

The paper sensors are probably turned on and will take a white piece of paper to get back in the ready position to be able to turn these sensors off. The trick will be positioning the paper in the correct location during start up. So you might have to watch the print to see when the sensor comes out during startup an position the paper in the general area as close to the printhead as possible.

Can you tell me where exactly that sensor is? And what it look like?

Because i dont think that sensor still there, i think it was removed , coz it useless on t-jet

It is located on the printhead carriage. If the sensor is activated you will see a quick flash near the face of the printhead. It's been awhile and do not recall if US Screen had that feature removed, but I am almost positive that the paper suggestion will work for you. I just do not recall where the machine stops to look for the paper. The distance of the paper to the printhead is also very important. Billy Lazo is a very good tech for the TJet's and scans the forums every so often. Maybe he can jump in and give us his input...

If you are talking about multisensor then its in place, but i think it doesnt work. Its not flashing at the start up at all, but it flashes when we try to test it. Was trying to put paper in various positions but it didnt helped.

p.s.: I am in Lithuania and it is morning here
